“At the heart of the BHECCS philosophy, there exists a profound and unwavering commitment to the belief that patients and their families are at the very centre of everything we do. It is a sentiment that reverberates through every member of our team who dedicate themselves to serving the community.
We understand that illness and injury are not just a medical problem; it is a deeply personal and often challenging journey. Therefore, we dedicate ourselves to providing not just medical care, but also empathy, compassion, and support. We strive to listen to the concerns, hopes, and fears of our patients and their loved ones, knowing that it is in those moments of vulnerability that we can truly make a difference.
Our patients and their families are our inspiration and motivation – here we would like to share with you just some of their incredible stories
On the 14th of August 2022, Daniel Baines life was tragically and unexpectedly cut short following a sudden collapse at home. Daniel was a much loved and caring young man with a passion for anime and Japanese culture which has been reflected in a peaceful memorial garden set up by his family.
Following his passing, Daniels family made the selfless decision to raise awareness and vital funds for the Critical Care Team that attempted to save his life that day. We are incredibly thankful to Daniels amazing friends and colleagues, but most of all his loving family, for their ongoing generosity.
Through this act of giving, we honour his memory by continuing our commitment to delivering lifesaving care to the most critically ill and injured patients in our communities. May this donation, made in his name and for the good of others, bring comfort to all of those that love and miss him.
ご冥福をお祈り申し上げます
(May he rest in peace)
